What Is Nothing To You?

What does the meaning of nothing mean to you?

Everyone will have there own different meaning, different perception.

To me nothing is not having the important things that matter in my life.

Not having my beautiful family. Not being able to wake up to my gorgeous fiance, or getting my handsome son dressed for school in the morning. My family is my world, my motivation, my inspiration, my life. I would not be able to go on without them.

Not having a roof over my head. Being able to provide shelter for family. not having that is nothing to me.

The employment I  currently have, the position I hold. I’m grateful for the opportunity I was given at my job. Not having my current job, would play a big factor to providing for my family.

The people I have in my life. They are my support, the push me, and care as well. The people I currently have around me means a lot to me.

The person I am today, the person I’ve become after many trial and errors. The success and accomplishments I achieved and gained.

Not having these is what nothing means to me. Today I have to have gratitude, humility and practice being humble. These 3 traits plays a big role in my life.

  1. Nothing to me depends on how I may perceive the word. I will not gain anything (material, emotional, spiritual “things” or values) that I lack at the moment if I already stop trying to pursue them.

However, in the context of the post, I will have nothing if I loss my purpose in life. I strive to live because I have a purpose and get to enjoy the byproducts of that purpose which I consider as “everything that I have” – my wife, my family, my work, my friends, every little bit of blessings that I have.
